$155. (unframed) 4X6” mini original watercolor
Available to the 1st person to email
(framing 8x10 - $35 - shipping available at cost)
If unsold by 3/25 the price goes to $250

From my Lancaster city walk, this is on N. Mulberry St.
I am having a good time painting "city" scenes.

Andy Walkers Update: Wednesday's walker was Todd F.
Todd actually lives just down the street from me and we first met when Abbey was in Elementary school in the early 90's, Todd was a music teacher. I really only know him well enough to wave  and say hello when he walks by and we have seen him play trumpet a few times. He plays a mean trumpet. He saw on Facebook I needed walkers and reached out. We had a great walk and spent most of it chatting about music, I totally enjoyed the conversation.

A window from Ireland today...

Andy Walkers Update:  My Tuesday walker is my good buddy Rick B.  (well known around town!)  We go back to the early 80"s when he had his animal hospital in his back yard building (ok, it had been a garage!)  We took our sick kitty to him and became instant friends.  I LOVE his sense of humor and he always has me laughing.  Oh the stories we could tell!  He has always been there when I needed a little help.  And no bikes are involved in our friendship.  We love his wife Karen equally!   Rick showed up at my door with a "Waiver of Responsibility" for Linda to sign before walking me.  Linda was almost crying with laughter. He took me to the Welsh Mountains for a nice hike in the woods.  I almost forgot I was walking!

Blessing update: Blessings are still pouring in! Thank You Jim G.  for the pears (he knows I like to paint and eat pears and he know the way to Linda's heart is spiced jelly beans, he calls them her stress relief!   Also arrived is a beautiful heart with a paintbrush made by Janet in Pittsburgh.
I will give her a little plug...click here to see her work!

Tonight's meal was delivered from Rose Ellen (this is her 3rd time!)  She has gone above and beyond.
Big hugs to her.

updates...

2023  Flower #5  SOLD!

A client requested something with daffodils so this was for her..
Linda had these tulips and daffodils on the kitchen table.
For a different angle I just painted the tops... turned out well!

Health Update: Week 4 of chemo was definitely my hardest so far. It took me all the way to Sunday to feel human. Thank goodness there is a week to regroup. This week is scheduled with new "Andy Walkers" each day, I am looking forward to that.

Blessing update:
Sent from someone special in NJ, thank you Paul M. for the lemon goodies!
For those worried I will gain weight, we are freezing a lot of the sweets but I am losing weight not gaining!

A still Life with lemons...

Blessing update: This week was filled with sweets!
The freezer is getting full!
WOW...7 huge containers of homemade cookies was shipped from MD
by Randy & Mary Beth M.

John M dropped off (a trip from MD) an adorable metal artist sculpture, two apple pies (I think apple pie may be my cancer cure!), apple cider donuts and 2 boxes of cookies. He really should NOT be allowed to visit Delicious Orchards in NJ!

And...a bit of Irish was dropped off by Claire M.

Week 4 Chemo left me feeling...well, not the best. I am tired, my bones ache, I tingle. It is the oddest feeling. Warm peppermint tea is helping me get liquids in. I am eating but not hungry. Expecting to rebound by tomorrow.

This building is from my Lancaster City walk. It is located on N Arch Street. I was interested in the sun warming up the yellow.  I may have made it look more interesting than it was!

Andy Walkers Update:  My Sunday walkers were Dave & Val C.   Val took watercolor classes from me, she is quite an accomplished artist.  I met her husband through her and we have "biking" in common.  We have had dinner together and they are a fun couple!  They picked me up and we strolled the streets of Strasburg, PA.

Blessing update: As if walking me was not enough, Dave & Val C brought an after walk dinner!   The extra tomato, pepper and onions went into my Monday egg omelette!
THANK YOU.

I loved this place, Stratford Hall in VA, the birthplace of Robert E Lee.  this window was in an out building (slave quarters), not as pretty as the main house but I love the light.

Health Update: Chemotherapy #4. I am tolerating it well, compared to what it could be. Came right home and took a 2 hour nap, During Chemo week I get a bit tired and a little foggy brain for a day or 2. I have a little trouble with the taste of water (yes, Linda put lemons in it! helps a little) and I find I am starting not to be hungry, have to make myself eat. But it could be much worse so I am thankful.

Today I am rocking my “Rock the Treatment” beanie from Tiff & Tin and my “Eagles” blanket from Ed & Tracy. Keep those prayers coming!

This window view is from the Cairnwood House in Huntingdon Valley PA.
FYI: that's a rooftop not water, this window was way up and the room was rounded.

Andy Walkers Update:  My Saturday walker was Doug A.  A fellow artist who I met years ago at the Landis Woods Show.  We would run into each other and catch up (regularly!) at our local Cafe, Dosie Dough.  We walked and talked art in chilly weather with a few snow flurries!

Blessing update:  The mailman may not be blessing me with the extra deliveries BUT I am thrilled!  In Fridays mail was a big "Rock the Treatment"  box from Tiffany, Tin and Aspen all the way from SC.  The next box was from Don T. a tasty Danish Kringle (I am freezing half of it!)  and a book from Jim and Louvenia W.  all the way from WA .

MARCH MADNESS!!

MARCH MADNESS isn't just for basketball its also happening at my Studio...
I googled the definition of madness and am going with:
extremely foolish behavior!   Since I am not out there showing and I want to sell prints we are offering a foolish deal to our clients. (Yes, you may share this with your friends!)

Buy one unframed
(signed/numbered) print   and get one unframed (signed/numbered) print FREE!

(of the same or lesser value)  Yes, you read that correctly, madness right?
The deal runs from today through April 3.

So now you need to go to my website and pick out 2 prints you have always wanted.  Then send me an email with your order.  They are unframed, I will offer framing (the price difference between unframed and framed) and UPS shipping at cost or pick up at the studio. Payment options are cash, check, charge, Paypal.

Andy Walkers Update:
Yes, I have been walking I am just a little behind in posting.
March 8th my walker was Bob B.  We met around 1992 when our girls went to school together.  Over the years we have socialized and attended the same events.  Again, its one of those friendships you can not see each other for a year and pick up where you left off.  A wonderful family that is a pleasure to know.

Blessing update: Not only did Bob walk me BUT he also brought sunny daffodils, soup, bread and pastry!  Thank you to Bob and Diane!

It is near Mathews, VA. and I never tire of the views.

Andy Walkers Update: My Tuesday walker was Rose Ellen H.
We met in 2001 at the Landis Woods Art Show. She has become a passionate collector, in fact she was featured in my YouTube Andy Smith artist Collector Series (google it, its worth watching). Over the years she has also become a good friend.  It was a pleasure walking in the cold with her!

While on my Sunday walk with John this view interested me. It was a beautiful day and the shadows and green bushes just moved me!   From the corner of Front and North Streets in Lititz, Lititz Planing Mill.

Health Update: After a change in meds on Tuesday, my blood pressure was still high but they went ahead and did my 3rd round of Chemotherapy today. My disconnect is Friday and I am toxic till Monday. But then I am back on track. Just a little bump in the road.  Tomorrow I have an appointment with the hypertension Dr.

I am wrapped in LOVE (blanket) by Bruce and Kathy. Getting quite a blanket collection! Thank you for all the prayers, I am still feeling ok and painting!

And later in the day this wonderful blessing was dropped off, its what's for dinner tonight! Thank you Ron and Carol.
