Birds on a wire...
I went out on a limb so to speak, something totally
different than what I have been working on which
is the purpose of the blog.  I wanted to play around
with dusk and the moon.

Lititz Art Show Cancelled, BUT MY STUDIO IS OPEN 9-5

The Lititz Art Show was cancelled for tomorrow (due to rain???), but the day in Lititz should be quite nice.
Since you have the day free, WHY NOT VISIT MY STUDIO, which is 1 block from the Lititz square and 1 block from Lititz Park at 4 N. Spruce Street?  There are plenty of boutique shops and restaurants within walking distance to keep you busy the rest of the day!
I have a large selection framed and several new original paintings.

This was our view of the river Cher from a
window in
 Chateau de Chenonceau.  The castle
was built over the river, spanning two banks.

I'm getting ready for the Lititz Art Show.  Paintings
are packed and ready to put in the van.  Fingers
crossed for a clear Saturday.

Check in...

I got home from showing at Penn State last evening.  Unpacked the van and Linda did laundry. Tuesday was devoted to errands.  My father-in-law needed his recliner remote repaired and I had to go out to Keller Bro. Ford to clarify his warranty.  He received a class action suit on his transmission which is already giving him trouble.  They were not overly helpful which surprised me.  Then off to Roots market and pick up some printing Linda had done.  There was no time to even pick up a brush today.

I can show you this... I finished it last week.

Personal news...
After an agonizing decision, last week I handed in my resignation from coaching Junior High Track at Warwick.  Hardest decision I have ever made.  I will truly  miss the kids.  21 years of coaching and I loved every season.  Linda promises to find things for me to do next year when the season starts and I'm sure she will keep me busy.

The "most beautiful village" of Montsoreau lies along the banks of the Loire River. We had dinner there and the light on the river at dusk was beautiful.
