Blue Glass

4"x6" Miniature Original Watercolor
Contact the studio

Every now and then I am attracted
to the quirky. But in my defence I
actually saw this still life. I found it
at the Lancaster Market. A blue vase
turned upside down on a shelf.

Below is my latest larger painting...
I found this window in New Castle, DE.
Interesting peeling paint on the window
frame and nice brick work. But look at
that light across the sail. Great depth.
I enjoyed every brush stroke on this one!

For a minute I thought the blue vase was a keyhole! What a nice still life! The ship painting is just stunning, Andy! I love the shadows too...And brick buildings, old windows...I wish I could explore the place!
