From a trip to Glendale Flour Mills in Boyertown.
I start with a sketch to get the feel and general composition.
Then hand draw on my watercolor paper
next is a series of light washes to get what is called underpainting.
Keep building and drying and getting darker washes.
Generally I paint the mini "Painting A Day" pieces Monday thru Thursday and then use the weekend for my larger paintings. YES, I paint every day, most of the day unless we have something to do. I LOVE painting.
