Not exactly a beach but beach related and I will probably do more beach paintings later. While at the beach last week our friend Kathy found this beautiful scallop shell and gave it to Linda. The back story is the girls are always talking about walking the El Camino de Santiago and the white scallop shell has meaning. If you are unfamiliar click the links it is very interesting. She saved it and suggested it would make an interesting painting... testing my skills as always! I think it turned out well. This also shows you can find inspiration anywhere.
FYI: there is a good movie about walking the El Camino caller "The Way" with Martin Sheen (2012), worth your time.
