ANOTHER ONE FINISHED...

Scotland...what a view.  What a challenge to paint.
I am saving it for my open house in November,
but you can add it to your wish list!

Framed 18x24"  (not titled or priced)

I also finished a wonderful sunflower that is a strong contender for this years new print.  I am starting option #2 later today.  Then Linda will make a decision.  We need to be at the printer by the 1st of October.  Open house is sneaking up fast!
There will be a small sunflower tomorrow.  Keep watching

Wednesday...

I finished my small commission yesterday, a gift so I cannot show it. Now, I am back to the larger painting I started last weekend. This has been a very very slow build of a complicated Scottish landscape.

Another finished painting...

We got home at 8:30pm Sunday night from showing at Ludwigs Corner. Had a good show, blessed to stay with our friend Joan AND Linda had dinner twice at her fav...Limoncello! Two big long shows back to back weekends show our age! Today, I unloaded the van, took a bike ride, and had a visit from friends.  I am attempting to finish the painting from the weekend. I may not get a mini painting done till Wednesday.

Meanwhile...At the Pittsburgh show I was demonstrating this painting. I worked on it all last week.
Dean Village, Water of Leith.  Edinburgh, Scotland

I am concentrating on the trees and water before tackling the building.

Notice the Holy Trinity Church way in the background.

FINISHED!   This will be framed 18x24 and available at my Open House in November. I am super happy with the way it turned out.

update...

Monday was a working holiday for me. I had to unload from the weekends double booth and repack for my Pittsburgh show.

I spent the past several days on this new painting.

I saw this driving through Achnasheen, a tiny hamlet in the scenic Highlands of Scotland. The hills were a mix of greens and browns waiting for the heather to bloom. We saw a little blooming but were a bit early in the season.
I finished my painting by the end of the weekend show, and today cut a mat.  It is still untitled or priced and my plan is to save it for Open House.
Framed 14x18

Pittsburgh...I am BACK!  I love this show.  The quality is great, the park is nice!

2025 Scotland #17

mini original watercolor  $225
Scotland landscape, driving between Dunblane and Braco.

If you look back on August 20 you will see the start of this painting.  It was so complicated but I loved it when I was finished.  It has it all: old stones, window reflections, grey sky, a lake, green grass...   Nothing I would change on it!

Scottish View   framed 20x22     $2500.
