DEAR
CLIENTS and FRIENDS,
I have just been recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Trust me, I was not expecting that news either! I was having some
digestive issues (but no pain) and a colonoscopy last week confirmed that there
is a rectal tumor causing these issues. Over the past whirlwind of a week, I've had
additional diagnostic tests. Thankfully, we have a dear friend, a brilliant MD,
who meets with us regularly to guide us through the massive amount of
information that we're receiving. Thursday we will be meeting with a surgeon,
and radiologist, and on the 23rd an oncologist. After that I will have a good idea of the "Plan"
We are sharing this information with the hopes that you'll be extra patient with us if your order is a little late or if our response time to you is not as quick as you are used to.
On a positive note, you know I am generally healthy, very active (bike riding and exercising) and am hoping this helps me in the battle. AND I have a very strong Christian faith. I am requesting some heavy duty prayers from each of you! Thank you in advance for your PATIENCE, PRAYERS, CONCERNS, and KIND WISHES. I will do a blog update as I go along on this journey, updating you on my progress.

My husband was diagnosed with terminal, incurable bladder cancer and was given just a few months to live. That was over five years ago and after immunotherapy treatments, doctors can find no evidence of the cancer in any part of his body. The doctors have been astounded! But, my husband remained continually positive and upbeat, believing in the total power of God to take care of it. To this day, his scans remain clear and we remain humble, thankful, and prayerful. Many, many friends and relatives have joined us in earnest prayer and continue to hold him up to the Lord for mercy and grace in continuing this miraculous healing.
You are in my prayers as you battle this frightening disease. Read Scripture and focus on God’s promises. 🙏

I pray every day for God to give you strength and positive thoughts about your healing and recovery. You two are strong and positive people with a love for nature and that will be calming.
