SOLD!
4x6” original watercolor
$225 (unframed) to the first person to email
If unsold by 12/22 at 7pm price goes to $300.

I had a blast painting this one.  Love the reflection in the transom, love my favorite fruit sitting up there.  Great shadows.  Anyone in Lititz recognize this door? If this does not sell, Linda is planning to hold it for next years Holiday print.

Busy day in the studio...

We are trying to be around this weekend for last minute shopping!

Last night we had a wonderful family and friends dinner at the Log Cabin.  This starts off our Holiday celebrating.  Grocery shopping done today and it looks like we will be spending time in the kitchen!

We found this while walking the streets in Historic Bethlehem PA.  The green against the white door is striking and the red bow just pops.  But I rather like the door handle!

This was a friends weekend for us... trying to squeeze as much time with friends as we can while on break from showing.  Linda has been experimenting with deserts she is interested in serving over three get-togethers we have coming up.  So, taste testing HAS to be done.  Last week was an Apple Carmel Roll which I loved but the others voted only ok.  This week we had a key lime pie, the pie got great reviews but the crust was a no!  Next she made a Butterfinger Creme Brulee which was hands down on the YES list!  We are binge watching The Crown with the Hildebrand's who are also our taste testers.  Been fun.  We are now at season 3.   We also spent a few hours with our friends the Woodruffs, had lunch at Rachels Creperie reminiscing about our trip to France.  The crepes are not quite like the French ones but a good substitute.  Linda is finally getting a little time to read and she has a 1000 piece Santa puzzle out on the table.  I am stuck riding my rollers inside because it is just too cold for me to be out!  Now you are up to date... more fun scheduled for this week...

2019 Holiday #1

SOLD!
5x5” original watercolor

My first Holiday painting of the season is from the Emmaus, PA  area.  We were driving back roads looking for subjects.

Road trip Update:  Last week we took a little time off to hunt fresh Holiday subjects.  We started in Jim Thorpe PA.  Sadly, they were only starting to decorate so there was only a bit of subjects however we ate well and I can highly recommend The Parsonage B&B.  Lovely rooms filled with eye candy and a breakfast that was over the top delicious. We plan to return just for the B&B.  Next stop was Bath, PA.  I found some inspiration all within one block.  The real reason for this stop was a little antique shop,  S Seem Antiques.  We only picked up a few things... don't tell Abbey (our daughter) she thinks we are down sizing!  On to Bethlehem where I knew I would find the mother load of Christmas and I was not disappointed!  I braved the cold and wind, freezing my fingers taking photos.  From here we meandered home the back roads and I can say I am inspired and ready to paint!

In case you are looking for something larger to put under the tree...
17x21" original watercolor  "Courtyard Entrance"  $1200.   and I can ship it for you!

post Open House

I wish I could say we have been resting and I had been riding bike but no...   Linda had orders to get together and I had three mini commissions to finish.  Open House and the 2nd week were a success!  Everything went well and I must thank everyone who attended.

If you want to visit the studio for some Holiday shopping we are making every effort to be available, just call or send an email with a day and time.    You may also place any orders to be shipped by going to my website or call or email and we will be happy to help you.   Gift certificates in any amount are available.

In case you were waiting, I still have some new prints available!

We are heading to Jim Thorpe and Bethlehem to get Holiday subjects for my Holiday blogs which I will start next Monday...be on the look out for some great mini paintings!
