2019 Ireland #12

4x6” original watercolor.    $225

I found this swan in the gardens of the Irish National
Stud Farm so that makes it an Irish swan!
Put it on your Ireland bucket list.  It was worth the visit.

This is my last painting for the week.  We are headed
to warm weather for a bit.  Our house sitter is in
charge so don't worry the house is not empty.  I will
be back tanned, ha ha and rested and ready to
paint seascapes!

lesson learned!

You don't know what you don't know!
Our 4 year old Ipad died.  So I did a bit of research and found the newest model replacement.  Yesterday we went to Best Buy feeling confident and bought one.  Linda spent all afternoon syncing it to my phone, adding all the programs she needed, making sure all worked.  It was connected to our house wi-fi and all was well and she was happy. Sometime in the middle of the night, when Linda was having trouble sleeping she had the thought that it was not  all right.  That the ATT symbol and connection was not there.  So this morning she contacts ATT tec support  "chat" .  They are asking lots of questions, asking for lots of numbers and still missing some information.  After an hour "support chatting"  Linda cries uncle and the support guy says his supervisor will call in a few minutes.  Ha ha... no call came.  So we now get into the car and drive to the ATT store out on Rt 30 Lancaster.  A very nice, very young girl takes a one second look at it and announces we bought a WiFi only model... she restores the original settings and we now need to return it.  However we did not have the charger with us.  So we drive back home, pick everything up and head to Best Buy again... I wait in a long return line and find out the cellular model is not available BUT they can have one shipped in a day or two...  As of 5pm, Linda still has a headache!  Who knew what to ask for!!  As you can guess, no painting was accomplished today.

I am staying with Ireland for a bit.  Here is a typical

$135 (unframed) available to the 1st person to email.
If unsold by 1/5 at 7pm the price goes to $250

I did not have enough time to explore Ireland before getting
ready for open house so I’m back to it.  This is a wonderful
window I saw in Arklow, a small town in County Wicklow,
Ireland.   I was a little surprised to see window boxes in
Ireland.  But they vie for most beautiful town each year so
they go all out with flowers.  I was also surprised to see
lavender everywhere.  This reminds me how small the world
really is.  I’ve seen lavender everywhere, US, France, Italy...

Update:
My patient is impatient!  Linda is at 4 weeks and thinks she
should be much farther along.  This knee has been a bit
harder.  I think its because of all the muscle changes and
straightening.  This is causing bad muscle spasms.  Plus
with the other knee she could go outside and sit on the porch
to distract her.  Walker is gone and she is using a cane and I
often catch her using nothing.  Sleeping is awful, 2 hour
stretches.  Time... is all I think she needs...
