A few weeks ago we were in DC and walking
in my daughter's neighborhood and spied this

dove. It was setting in a sunny spot on a wall;

all puffed up and sleeping.

Not my usual painting, I guess Linda thought
it would offer a challenge... she kept asking
me to paint it. It did turn out pretty well.
The only thing I had time for was painting and
track practice!
