Washington, DC #11

6" x 4" original watercolor
SOLD

I know this is busy however I am intrigued
with shadows. It is a continued study of
the Georgetown house I painted for the blog
on January 8. I think a nice mat will tone down
the shadow work but if you view it knowing a
tree is behind you and you focus more on the
window I think you could fall in love with this
painting. It is actually a bit lighter than it
photographed.

The weather gave me no choice but to sit with
my paints all day. No one made it to tonight's
class so I just continued my painting. I hate this

stuff and meanwhile Linda couldn't wait to go shovel.
That's why we get along so well!
