As the United States approaches its 250th year, local artists reflect on their American experience both as an individual and as part of their chosen communities. In celebrating our unique stories, we hope to inspire reflection and optimism for the next 250 years.

The traditions and the simplicity of the past... our history symbolized by a room in an old mill, illuminated by an old lamp. Light is a celebration, without it, we have no clarity.
