Andy Smith.

I met Andy at event in Skippack PA, where we were both showing our art.
Andy and I both admire Wyeth art. Like myself I believe Andy aspires to hold to the principle that were taught by Howard Pyle in believable illustration, that he taught his student like N.C. Wyeth.
What I admire about Andy’s water colors paintings, is his surgeon Precision of handle his contras between light and darkness and how it plays on wooden floors and antique furniture.
I am amazed by his illustrations of window, and objects in his still lives.
In my opinion, I don’t think his landscapes are his strongest suit.
As for what I know about him as a person, he has always been friendly and polite.
I have been to his house for one of his open house art shows ,and I have help him break down his art display at a few show I have ran into him at.
He gives back to his community by couching High School Girls Trak, and he teaches classes in water color painting.
What I admire about him is his guts to leave an auto body shop career and pursue a fall time art career.
