This little jewel is from New England...
I think Maine. I liked the composition
and depth. Several things to look at.
A waterfall, bridge, woods and a building.
I am having a tiny bit of trouble balancing
all I have to do right now. I did not get a
blog done yesterday. I taught a class in the
morning, went to have lunch with my Mom
and got home in time for track (3-6PM) and
I painted in the evening but still not enough
time to finish. So it took me 2 days to finish
this painting.
Tomorrow there will not be a blog...
I am a guest artist at our local elementary
school all day. Then track, then leave for
Kutztown to set up for my weekend show.
The Show:
March 27-28
8th Annual Spring Craft Festival
Held at Kutztown University, Keystone Hall,
Kutztown, PA
at. 9-5 and Sun 10-4

Andy, this is so beautiful! I love the saturation of colors you've managed here too. I think I've seen this scene painted before, though for the life of me I can't remember who...Someone on my blog list, I am sure.
I'm surprised that you get so much painting with all that you do in a day. I think I'm going to be heading to Rochester, NY, with my husband in early May. I am hoping we can stop for a detour if you are showing somewhere while we are on that trip (he has job training for two weeks and we usually drive when I go along) and I can see all your works, maybe watch you work a wee bit, and say hello to you and your family. I'll let you know the dates soon so you can check with your events secretary.
AutumnLeaves, would love to connect however I am no where near Rochester NY in May...My studio is a good 6hr drive away.
5/1:Dover,DE, 5/8:Urbanna, VA, 5/15 Delaware,OH, 5/22, Wilkes Barre, PA, 5/29 Harrisburg, PA
But if you can mmake it work!!
Thanks Andy! You are right, it doesn't look as though I'll be driving through any area your schedule has you when we head to Rochester. We drive through IN, OH, and of course, PA...but I think it is earlier part of month. Ah well...one of these days I will run across one of the many artists that I follow showing their gorgeous works!
