I was a little tired of cherry blossoms and
was not finding inspiration easily. Then I
saw Linda's half dead aloe plant. She was not
happy having it shown to the world; she
usually has a green thumb! I was interested
in the way the usually plump stalks were thin
and curled and the way the tips browned.
I rendered the pot perfectly. I have also been
experimenting with my backgrounds. For the
artistic; I painted the green around the spots in
the stalks. No maskit or white paint!
About all I can say about my day was that
it was cold again for track practice. My kids
are coming along nicely. My mind is on track!
