Nesting Goose

I took a tour of a working organic farm called
"Moon in the Pond Farm" in Sheffield, Mass.
This nesting goose was tucked
into a safe corner with ideal light laying across
her back. This painting is a study for a large
painting I plan to start this weekend. The farm
turned into a wonderful source of subjects so there
will be more to come. Enjoy!
