4" x 6" original watercolor - soldI am working on paintings from my trip "West"
This scene is from "The 1880 Town" just past
Mitchell, S.D. There are several things going on in
this painting. It's an interior still life but also a landscape.
Immediately your eye goes out the window to the post
in the field, soaking in the lush green pasture. Then you
slowly come back inside, following the sunlight
laying across the sill and the wood pile.
