I had my advance class this morning.  Lively
conversation, I always enjoy these students which
have been with me for a long time.  We had a
house appraisal done in the afternoon, sparked by
the new Lancaster assessments we felt we needed
a more realistic appraisal.   Then our scheduled track
meet was postponed till tomorrow but I still had a
wet practice.

This is from our recent snow storm and it's from
near Warwick Farms on Rt772 in Lititz.  I love how
the street looks wet.

We spent the weekend in DC with our daughter and
son-in-law and grandkitty Lucille.
Went to the National Gallery of Art to see the new
East Wing.  Fantastic building!

My first day of track was Monday... then our big
snowstorm on Tuesday, and today we need to stay
inside.  The track is covered in 12" or more of snow.
Not a great start to the season.

Leaving tomorrow to set up for this show.

My latest painting...  I have used this painting as a
demonstration at my last two shows and at Messiah
Lifeways.  It is a building from Waterford, VA.
I love the shadows.

I had a class this morning and then i painted all afternoon.
Ran a few errands; moulding for frames dropped off,
dry cleaning, bank, UPS to mail a sold painting, Post
Office to get stamps for a mailer.  Store for bread and cheese
so Linda can make grilled cheese with her homemade
mushroom soup for dinner tonight.  Next I took a nice
bike ride for my mental health and back to more painting
 tonight.  A pretty full day.

Today I did a lecture and demonstration at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA.  I try to do small displays and lectures in my slow time so this is my last one for the season.   I had a very nice group of seniors and I enjoy doing it.

Then it was back home to paint.   Tonight I have a track meeting... only 6 days till track starts!!   I am looking forward to another fantastic season and can't wait to get out there.

This Saturday I can be found in Lincroft, NJ
This is a very crafty show but I will have a booth
full of great prints and fantastic original paintings!

This week simply got away from me...
Tuesday I taught a class in the morning, then went to
Landis Homes to mount a show.  Then another class
in the evening.  Wednesday we drove to
Mechanicsburg, PA to mount a show at Messiah
Lifeways and then came back to Landis Homes for
a demonstration and lecture for their Pathways
Institute for Lifelong Learning.  This all required a
bit of packing and repacking.   Today I packed the
van for the weekend show and finally got to work on
my painting.
