2013 Still Life #17

4"x 6" original watercolor
SOLD!

A packed miniature painting; feed bin,
wood rake and I am not sure what is hanging
on the wall...  Shaker at its best!

I pretty much spent all day on this little painting.
Now I need to go out and mow...

2013 Doorway

4"x 6" original watercolor
$225.00

A simple doorway...
My workshop went well on Saturday.  I think all
students were pleased, I was fortunate to work
with some great people.  Their paintings will be
on the student blog by tomorrow.
Yesterday we went to Ladew Gardens in Monkton, MD
I enjoyed it very much but Linda thought the end of May
would be a better time to go with blooming
azaleas and rhododendron.  Great topiary and some
very nice waterlilies.

Here I am trying to get that perfect waterlily shot!

Thursday Check In

We had two weeks of traveling and got home Monday
night.  It feels good to be home.  Really good!
Linda wanted desperately to play in the garden and it has
been to hot and dry, so she is sneaking in some reading time!
We had a few great family meals, we celebrated Linda's
birthday which I may not mention!
I did maintenance on my bikes and of course there is work
getting done.  Linda has been seen at her desk and I finished
two paintings I started at each of the shows.

I am concentrating on my painting workshop which is on
Saturday.   There is still room in the class for anyone to join
me in Hershey.  Details are listed on 7/10 post.

My latest paintings, not yet framed or titled!

my portrait

I am privileged to have artist Kanchana paint my
portrait as a surprise.   I think she did a wonderful
job and it definitely looks like me!

I got home from the Berkshires last night.
It was HOT and full of mosquitoes!
So today was spent unpacking part of the van,
laundry, some framing, repacking, mow, groceries,
bank, family dinner...
